Q1.  On the bridge what is the Rail Authority telephone number?

After the bridge continue ahead and follow the gentle incline to the top passing Maumhill Wood on the left. Where the track bears left ignore the initial vehicular gaps to your right and turn right over small wooden bridge following Trent Valley Way. Continue ahead with hedge on right, at the bottom of the field go through gap in hedge onto grassy lane. Turn left and continue ahead until you reach the tarmac road. Turn left along road. As the road bears left towards the red brick house turn right on track Public Bridleway, follow track downhill until you reach the railway crossing with a Nature Reserve on your right.

Q2.  What is the name of the Nature Reserve?

TAKING EXTREME CARE cross over the level crossing. Continue up the track, passing through Caddow Wood. Approximately 100m after the end of the tree line on your left and before the track turns right, turn left on wide grassy track, Bridle Way. As the grassy track descends it will become gravel and then tarmac. Continue to follow this until you reach North Leverton Windmill.

Q3.  How many sails on the small windmill?

Leave the windmill turn left and follow the tarmac track to the main road. Turn left and pass under the Railway Bridge and into the village of North Leverton. Go through the village passing the playing fields, post office and the Royal Oak pub. Approximately 200m past the pub, turn left at footpath fingerpost towards church. Go over bridge and bear left around church to gravel track. Turn right and continue onto tarmac road between houses passing Fingle House and onto grass track. Ahead on narrow enclosed path with stream on right to kissing gate into field, turn left to further kissing gate in corner. Ahead across field to gate with the distant cooling towers directly in front through gate and kissing gate to next kissing gate. Ahead with hedge on right through two fields, then right round field to gate in hedge to road.

Cross over road to stile, ahead next to wooden fence at end of fence turn left keeping between high hedge and wire fence to stile. Continue ahead in the same direction to cross a further three stiles and double stile with bridge. Bear right across field to double stile in corner and road, cross over the road to path and turn left. Follow this path past the school and arrive back at the church and pub
