Walk along the B970, in the direction of Coylumbridge.  After a short distance take the second right SP. Blackpark. This minor road climbs gently through moor land and mixed woodland.

Q1 – What is the name of the first building on the left ?

Keep forward for approx.1.5km to reach a fork in the road at Blackpark.  Bear left on the road SP.Tullochgrue.  Continue climbing for approx. 1.5km, after crossing a cattle grid the road enters an open area.  At first ‘Passing Place’ sign turn left and follow a rough path which leads down the slope of heather and juniper scrub to join a clear track at the foot of the slope.  Here at the T- junction Turn right and follow this track to a second cattle grid, which has a few walk signs near it.

Q2 – What can be seen on the left ?

Turn right and at the next V - junction bear left.  Continue forward along this track, keeping forward at next track crossroads and cross two streams to eventually reach a sign posted 4 way junction.  Turn right at this point, on the track for Loch an Eilein.  Ignore all tracks cutting of to the right and left and carry on across moor land and scattered pine woodland to reach the track around Loch an Eilein.  Turn right along this track and continue to reach end of loch. Turn left over footbridge and in approx 100m reach the Loch an Eilein Visitor Centre, picnic area and toilets.

Q3 – What is the word over the visitor centre entrance door ?

Leave the visitor centre behind you and in a few metres take the first turn left to the car park. Walk through the car park and leave past the pay booth, follow to the left over a wooden bridge to reach the public road leading to the car park. Walk along this road and in approx 30m turn right again onto a clear track, uphill, through farmland and woodland back to Blackpark. On reaching the public road at Blackpark turn left and in approx. 100m turn left through a gate.  Follow a rough path through scattered pine woodland.  Take first narrow path to right and when this reaches a clear track turn right again. Follow this track initially through trees and then across an open area and finally through a conifer plantation to return to the Car Park.
