Llanwrtyd Wells Town Trail (PT 42) - 10km  Grade 1
Organised by Llanwrtyd Wells Walking Club
Llanwrtyd Wells is the smallest town in Britain and this walk takes you from the attractive square overlooking the river Irfan, through the Dol-y-Coed Park.  Here you will find the Sulphur Wells, and on to the very old Celtic Church of St David's set among the rolling mountains of the southern Cambrians.  This is a flat easy walk.  The rare red Kite is likely to be seen on this walk and food is put down in the Dol-y-Coed field.  From the RSPB hide,  you can view the Red Kite feeding at close quarters (1230 every day between October - Easter).

Round the Garn Walk (PT 53) - 10km  Grade 2
Organised by Llanwrtyd Wells Walking Club
A pleasant walk around the Garn Hill, an extinct volcano, climbing about 800 feet.  Wonderful views of the surrounding hills and mountains.  A good chance of seeing the rare Red Kite.  Feeding of the Red Kite takes place in nearby fields between October and Easter, viewing from the RSPB hut.  Visits old Llanwrtyd Church, complete with Celtic Cross.

Victoria Wells Walk (PT 99) - 15km  Grade 2+
Organised by Llanwrtyd Wells Walking Club
A route around Llanwrytd Wells with good views over the surrounding mountains.

St David's Walk (PT 119) - 20km  Grade 2
Organised by Llanwrtyd Wells Walking Club
The walk passes a RSPB hut opposite the Dol-y-Coed fields where the feeding of the Red Kite takes place daily at 1230 between October and Easter. It also passes St David's Church, a very old Celtic Church well worth visiting. A steady climb through the forestry takes you to a height of about 500 metres and splendid views of the surrounding mountains.
