HEREFORD AND WORCESTER
Hereford City Trail (PT 201) - 13km  Grade 2
Organised by Amesbury Walkers
This circular walk takes you around all the historic sites including the Castle and the Cider Museum.

Ramada Ramble (PT 202) - 10km Grade 2
Organised by British Walking Federation
The start is close to the Georgian Town of Bewdley.  The route is a mixture of minor roads, lanes and footpaths, tracks and riverside paths.  Varying terrain gives outstanding views across the Worcestershire and Shropshire countryside.

SHROPSHIRE
Benthall Edge (Ironbridge) (PT 129) - 10km  Grade 2+
Organised by British Walking Federation
Ironbridge.gif (77982 bytes)Ironbridge is famous for its industrial history.  Having explored Ironbridge the walk starts by crossing the bridge (this was the first iron bridge built in the world by Abraham Darby III in 1779)  and entering Benthall Edge Wood.  The focus of this walk is the lovely countryside of Benthall Edge.  Benthall Hall which belongs to the National Trust is open to the public on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons in the summer.  There are nine museums in the immediate Ironbridge area. All of them have a local industrial theme, including the Iron and Darby Furnace, Blists Victorian town, Jackfield Tile Museum, Broseley Pipeworks, and Coalport China Museum. A map showing the locations is available from the Visitor Centre (please check opening times before travelling). A passport ticket is available to visit each of the museums at a reduced price.

Ludlow Trail (PT 200) - 10km  Grade 2
Organised by Amesbury Walkers
This circular walk starts in the historic town of Ludlow and visits the castle and museums, and affords magnificent hill-top views.

WARWICKSHIRE
Shakespeare Stroll (PT 20) - 10km  Grade 1
Organised by Ise Valley Vagabonds
The walk is on pavements and made up paths, there are no hills which makes it suitable for pushchairs.  An old market town, birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford has many faces to show the tourist - beautiful houses, a modern new theatre, the river Avon, and of course many attractions linked with the Immortal Bard.  The walk includes canal and riverside, the town and passes Ann Hathaway's cottage.  There are many refreshment facilities including inexpensive meals at the Leisure Centre.

Warwick Permanent Trail  (PT 98) - 12km  Grade 2
Organised by Ise Valley Vagabonds
The walk starts from the Wheatsheaf Hotel, West Street, Warwick. It passes through many interesting parts of this historic town and incorporating a pleasant riverside walk. Pubs and restaurants are freely available.

Lawrence Sheriff Trail (PT 194) - 10km  Grade 2
Organised by Ise Valley Vagabonds
Lawrence Sheriff founded, among other charitable institutions,
Rugby School. This pleasant walk takes you round the town of Rugby, with its local history and places to visit like Rugby School Museum and Gilberts Rugby Football Museum.  It also takes you along a canal following the towpath to Newbold passing one or two pubs.
